It is quite evident that the Trinbagonian songstress Nadia Batson is cleverly building her empire at her own pace. The Soca artiste through her most recent project has added designer to her credits. Her most recent project; ‘Himaya by Nadia Batson’ is a non-typical Monday wear line.
Designed by David Dewer and Nadia Batson, Himaya caters to a full range of sizes allowing women of varying body types to embrace themselves while enjoying maximum comfort. With the tag line as “Respect the Monday. Look the part” it is clear that Nadia is not here to play. Inclusion is important and she is a firm believer that all women should be able to revel in style on the road.
Truth be told, for quite some time Nadia has admired the beautiful work of many designers but recognized that there was a bit of a gap in the Monday wear options available. “I’ve looked at so many Monday wear options and loved them all but the truth and fact is that I cannot wear them or make them work for me” shared Nadia. It is because of her struggle she is making it a point of focus and is confident that many others share the same sentiments. With five sections to choose from, the affordably priced designs will provide a balance between sexy and classy. Nadia and David Dewer have focused on providing options that are all encompassing.
As Carnival Monday continues to Rival Tuesday in the department of creativity and uniqueness, Nadia is creating a space where individualism can also exist. Persons wishing to be part of Himaya by Nadia Batson can register via email through firstname.lastname@example.org
