.Growing up, Melly’s musical influences varied and so did the genres. Names such as Billy Holiday, Marvin Gay, 2Face, Sizzla, Machel Montano, Patrice Roberts, Marvin Gay and Chris De Burgh top her list of influences. Jazz, R&B, Afrobeats, Soca and Reggae are also some of her loves.
Recently, Melly took a leap of faith and moved back to Trinidad and Tobago to pursue music. She has been consumed by creativity and has been associating with some of the best in the entertainment industry in the twin-island republic. While she has her eyes set on so much more, you are definitely going to have to stick around to see what is in store.
