Every once in a while, a neighbourhood produces people who remind you what community is supposed to feel like. In Orange Grove, those people are David and Sharon St Claire, and their organising team is called Noroh’s and Friends.

On Saturday, March 28th, just one day before Easter Sunday, the St Claires opened their front yard once again, transforming an ordinary afternoon into something children in the area will not forget anytime soon. The timing was thoughtful and intentional. Families could celebrate together in their community and still enjoy their own Easter morning at home the following day.
There were games, snacks, gifts, toys, a spread of food, and a drinks bar where a mixologist served fresh juices to guests of all ages. Around them, neighbours, family, and friends gathered not out of obligation but out of genuine love for what this couple represents.
“It’s a passion,” Sharon says simply. “We just want to bring people together and give these kids memories they’ll carry for life.”
It is a goal they have already achieved more than once. Their Christmas event drew the same warmth, the same laughter, and the same sense that something rare was happening right there on an ordinary street.
The only question now is what will they do next? And more importantly, could your street use a David and Sharon?
